MARK IT ZERO ART STUDIO
I began creating art in 2011 as both a creative outlet and a way to earn a little money on the side. At that point I hadn’t drawn anything other than the occasional doodle for about fifteen years. I now work solely as a freelance illustrator, using techniques that are mostly self-taught. My style has shifted over the years, from basic minimalist prints, to vector comic style renders, to digital painting. My primary medium is digital, using different combinations of Photoshop, Illustrator, and Manga Studio, though I do enjoy working with traditional paints.
My influences have shifted over the years. When I began, I was heavily inspired by Saul Bass’s quirky minimalism, as well as Shepard Fairey’s propaganda style, but as I have grown as an artist, I have found myself drawn to the works of Ken Taylor and Dave Rapoza.
Most of my work is available to purchase on Etsy and Storenvy. I also welcome clients to contact me for custom design work, whether it is for paintings, illustrations, or even graphic design.
